American Gothic

American Gothic is at the Des Moines Art Center! Our painting class (6 of us + prof) went today, and I'm pretty sure we got yelled at in every different gallery room. Our professor, Angela Battle, is very passionate about painting, and loves to get up close and see the detail, as well as the rest of us. We would discuss paintings and point to different areas(not touching)and the security guards would have seizures. Sooo funny. They stalked us room to room, and yelled quite loud when we got too close. I think we gave them more trouble than all the elementary classes coming through! teeeeheeee.

Sick all weekend

Ugh. I'm excited to be able to eat today. I was sick all weekend and my throat was too swollen to eat or drink. So I spent the whole time in bed watching movies, Firefly, playing wow, and sleeping. And I have a super awesome kitty cat that spent the whole weekend in bed with me, except when she got me up to feed her. She's such a good cuddler, what more could a girl ask for?

Also, I hate people who don't respect WoW etiquette. For instance, my friend and I were collecting crystals in a cave for a quest. We would kill the mobs around a crystal to go get it, and this asshole 32 BE Pally would go in a grab it while we were finishing the kills. And then he would mine tin right out from under me. Literally. Jerk. And because he was also horde, the most I could do was /spit on him. grrrr.

1. Devise a clever scheme to catch the invisible sock monster in my apartment and then cut off its head and mount it on my wall.

In actuality, I'll be going to walmart later to buy more socks.

New Red Vs Blue video is out. It's been two episodes so far, and I'm kinda disappointed, especially after how brilliant Reconstruction was. They really set the bar high. Step it up, guys!

Tupperware vs. Cat

Sake wins. I have these Tupperware things around full of goodies Grandma sent for valentines day, and my kitty thoroughly enjoys knocking them off where ever I put them. And she must know I'm blogging about her, because she just came and laid across my arms as I am typing. Attention whore, much?

One of those days

Do you ever have one of those days where everything is funny, and you don't know why? And things that are supposed to be funny are infinitely funnier by an exponential amount, leaving you giggling hysterically and causing people around you to debate having you committed? Yeah, I'm having one of those days. Cheers.

Singles Awareness Day.

Yeah, I really have nothing to say about Valentines, other than I think it's a silly holiday and never celebrate it. It's been a fab saturday, playing wow, reinstalling fav add-ons, and being bemused with the new WoW updates. There are achievements now? El oh el. One thing I like; my seals aren't consumed when I use judgement(so far), which is kinda really nice. [p.s. i play a BE Paladin]

Oh! I finished my first fingerless glove! I have to get a yarn needle to graft the two sides together, but yay me!

Ok, back to nerding it up, playing WoW and watching my Star Wars marathon. w00t.
